Wireless Monitoring in Tunnels

WiSenMeshNET® and WiSenMeshWAN®

1. Wisen Smart Gateway

Wisen Smart Gateway collects all data from sensors on project site. Data from the gateway is then transmitted via the cloud or GSM. The data can then be viewed using the Wisen Visualisation Platform to create complete monitoring reports. Alternatively the data can be integrated into your own Visualisation Platform.

2. Tilt and Building response

Measure tilt and building response to tunnelling, angular distortion or horizontal displacement using an omni node on a vertical beam or bracket

3. Movement across surface cracks and joints

Monitor the movements across surface cracks and joints and building response to tunnelling with the omni node or vibrating wire 1 channel omni node connected to a crackmeter or displacement sensor.

4. Settlement, heave and building response

Monitor with an analogue 1,2,4 or 8 channel interface node connected to liquid level settlement cells or with the wireless tiltmeter attached to a rigid beam and installed in a chain.

5. Groundwater level and pore water pressure

Monitor with the vibrating wire 1 channel interface node connected to a piezometer vibrating wire.

6. Force in ground markers

Measure the force in ground anchors with the omni node connected to a load cell.

7. Strains and stresses monitoring

Monitor structural members with the vibrating wire 1, 2,4 or 8 channel interface node connected to an in place inclinometer (IPI) on a chain or a shape array in a hole or excavation.

8. Ground movement behind diaphragm walls

Collate data for convergence measurements with the omni tilt and distance sensor and inclinometer with a range of ±90°.

9. Convergence measurements

Collate data for convergence measurements with the omni tilt and distance sensor and inclinometer with a range of ±90°.
